East Vail Colorado is in a quiet setting near the Rocky Mountains and is an exceptional place to enjoy the Colorado ski season. The winters are long and, in part due to the climate, the community is very tight knit and friendly.

East Vail is easy to get around and has a free bus system that makes commuting to nearby towns super-easy. There are plenty of hotels to choose from but the area is also renowned for having cheap real estate, especially in comparison to Vail Village, so if you are looking for a winter home in which to enjoy the Colorado slopes, then East Vail is a superb location.


Skiing is the main winter activity in East Vail with easily accessible shuttle buses to take you to the excitement of Vail Village and the slopes. The summer months offer all kinds of sports and recreation with golf, white-water rafting and hiking being particularly popular.


East Vail is an access point to Vail Village and many other Colorado attractions but is a special place in its own right with a quiet, beauty that contrasts with the liveliness of Vail.
