While in Vail kids can learn how to ski and snowboard on some of the best terrain in the state. And if they are already proficient in either, they will have the opportunity to hone their skills on challenging terrain which includes at least two different parks. If sliding down the mountain on skis or a board just isn't the kids cup of noodles then maybe they will enjoy snow tubing. Snow tubing, which is fun for all ages, is a popular activity at Vail and there are specific courses set up just for tubing. Ice skating is another popular winter activity in the area which kids will enjoy. Ice skate indoors at the ice center in town or sharpen your skills outdoors at Vail Resort's numerous facilitated skating areas. Finally, while in the area there are scores of places to relax and play games, shop and dog sled. For more information visit the visitors center in downtown Vail and the guest service center at Vail Resort.
