Internet Access
Vail, Colorado, is the perfect vacation spot for hiking and skiing, providing all the homely conveniences that most travelers demand, whether tourists or business people, including Wi-Fi and broadband computer or laptop access. Most of the local resorts and hotels offer this in their common areas and rooms, but there are local venues that cater to the more independent natured person as well.
Vale, Colorado, is a winter and summer paradise where vacations are more than just a simple treat, but an adventure in wilderness fun, high in the stunning Colorado Rocky Mountains. However, isolation is not apparent with broadband and Internet connections being readily available.
For laptop users, free Wi-Fi access can be found at Vail's Mountain House (292 East Meadow Drive), The Marketplace (Meadow Drive), Starbucks (1300 Westhaven Drive) and through a hotspot at the Sonnenalp Resort (Vail Road). Paid Wi-Fi access can be obtained at the Covered Bridge Coffee & Deli at 227 Bridge Street.
For those needing a computer with broadband access and Wi-Fi access combined/separate, visit the Covered Bridge Coffee & Deli on Bridge Street (computer use - $0.15/minute), the Dot Café at 660 West Lionshead Place (10 flat-screened computers with broadband only) and the Vale Public Library (292 West Meadow Drive). However, the library computers are limited to one hour sessions only.
