The Vail Colorado area has an extensive transit system which provides easy access to all the amenities in this local. There are multiple types of transportation systems that are environmentally sensitive and safe, efficient, and reliable. The bus service boasts of a fleet of 30 buses which run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. The buses make an estimated 116 trips per day, so you can catch a bus from nearly anywhere to anywhere at anytime.
Certain rules exist and should be adhered to if you are planning on riding the bus. There are no pets allowed on the buses. In the summer, the buses have bike racks and in the winter they are equipped with ski racks. It is wise to always be about 5 minutes early to try to catch the bus. There are no drugs or alcohol allowed on the buses.
Bus schedules are different for the summer season and for the winter season. Always plan ahead and obtain a schedule for the bus service when you first arrive in the area.
