Vail Shuttle Bus

The Vail shuttle gets passengers around Vail, Colorado on its convenient (and free) transport, providing easy access to all the amenities in the town, including lodging and skiing.

The Vail bus has a large fleet of buses, running all year, and is one of the largest shuttle systems in the United States. Catch a bus anywhere in town to get where you want to go.

The Vail shuttle bus provides racks to carry equipment such as bikes in the summer and skis in the winter, making it easy and simple to get to the outdoor recreation fun.

Destinations

Vail shuttles have a number of lines with convenient stops.

The East Vail or Blue Route departs from the Transportation Center, stopping at 22 destinations, including Falls at Vail, Racquet Club, Bighorn Park, Vail East Condos and Pitkin Creek Park.

The West Vail or Red Route departs from the Transportation Center, stopping at 18 destinations, including the Post Office, West Vail Mall, Meadow Creek, Matterhorn and Concert Hall Plaza.

The West Vail or Green Route departs from the Transportation Center, stopping at 16 destinations, including the Vail Municipal Building, Cascade Village, Intermountain and West Vail Lodge.

The Lionsridge shuttle departs from the Transportation Center, stopping at 9 destinations, including Sandstone School, the Post Office, Glacier Court and Vail Run.

The Sandstone shuttle departs from the Transportation Center, stopping at 7 destinations, including Red Sandstone Road, Sandstone Creek Club and Vail Run.

The Golf Course shuttle departs from the Transportation Center, stopping at 11 destinations, including the soccer field, Vail Valley Drive, Ford Park and the clubhouse.

Schedules

Vail buses run schedules that accommodate any visitor. Please note that schedules are different for the summer and winter seasons.

East Vail (Blue Route) Schedule

• Winter
  Runs from 5:50 am to 2:00 am
  20-minute intervals from 5:50 am to 7:10 am
  15-minute intervals from 7:30 am to 8:15 pm
  30-minute intervals from 8:30 pm to 2:00 am
• Summer
  Runs from 7:10 am to 11:10 pm every hour except noon, 2:10, 8:10 and 10:10 pm.

West Vail (Red Route) Schedule

• Winter
  Runs from: 6:00 am to 1:50 am
  30-minute intervals from 6:00 am to 8:30 pm
  40-minute intervals from 9:10 pm to 1:50 am
• Summer
  Runs from 7:50 am to 11:50 pm every hour except 10:50 am, 12:50, 2:50, 8:50 and 10:50 pm.

West Vail (Green Route) Schedule

• Winter
  Runs from: 5:45 am to 2:10 am
  30-minute intervals from 5:45 am to 8:15 pm
  40-minute intervals from 8:50 pm to 2:10 am
• Summer
  Runs from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm every hour except 9:30 and 11:30 am, 1:30, 7:30 and 9:30 pm.

Lionsridge Bus Schedule

• Winter
  Runs every hour from: 6:15 am to 8:15 pm
• Summer
  No summer service for this bus.

Sandstone Bus Schedule

• Winter
  Runs from: 6:00 am to 2:10 am
  30-minute intervals from 6:00 am to 8:00 am; 10:00 am to 3:00 pm; 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  20-minute intervals from 8:00 am to10:00 pm; 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
  30-minute intervals from 9:10 pm to 2:10 am
  8:50 pm Extra Run
• Summer
  Runs from 7:10 am to 11:10 pm every hour except 12:10, 2:10, 8:10 and 10:10 pm. There is an 11:30 pm outbound bus on request.

Golf Course Bus Schedule

  Golf Course (Inbound) runs from 6:45 am to 10:15 am
  60-minute intervals 6:45 am to 9:45 am
  30-minute intervals 8:15 am to 10:15 am
  Golf Course (Outbound) runs from 10:45 am to 11:50 pm
  60-minute intervals 10:45 am to 9:45 pm
  30-minute intervals 3:15 pm to 5:15 pm
  10:50 pm and 11:50 pm Extra
• Summer
  Runs from 7:30 am to 12:30 am every hour except 10:30 am, 12:30, 2:30, 8:30 and 10:30 pm.
