Overview
Just outside the fun and bustle of Vail Village is the beautiful Vail Nature Center with seven acres of land including some indigenous Colorado plant species. With forests, meadows and streams there is diverse terrain to explore with a wide range of hikes, workshops and seminars so you can fully appreciate your surroundings.

Activities
There is a huge amount to see and do at the nature center. Hikes and walks are a great way to explore and learn about the area and with wildlife walks, morning bird walks and an adult Backcountry hike there is something for everyone. The walks are accompanied by guides who will educate you on the nature and wildlife you encounter. If you're keen to learn more, a medicinal plant seminar is available as well as nature photography workshops and fly fishing and stream Ecology for those looking for something more practical. It is a great way to make the absolute most of the beautiful Vail countryside during your visit.
