Steamboat Springs is located a little more off the beaten path than is Vail, Colorado. If you want to stay in the area, but want a little more distance between your lodging and Interstate 70, then you might want to consider staying in the Steamboat Springs, Colorado area.
Just two hours away in the beautiful Rocky Mountain area, Steamboat Springs has many fun things to do right there and great places to stay.
