Vail International Dance Festival
The annual Vail International Dance Festival is held in early August. The Dance Festival hosts a vast collection of ballet and modern dance groups from around the world. The dance performers change from year to year, but frequently the guest dancers include artists from the American Ballet Theatre, the Bolshoi Ballet and other world-class companies. Recently, audiences have enjoyed dancer performing the best steps from Havana and "Stepping' Out with Ballroom's Best". The majority of the performances are at the famous Vail's Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, which is an outdoor venue in the Vilar Pavilion. At this location, you can sit in the seats or recline on blankets on the beautiful green grass. Come and enjoy the music and the dancing in the fall season at Vail, Colorado.
