Vail Film Festival
The Vail Film Festival is a fairly new event for the Vail area. The Vail Film Institute arranges for the screening of films in the categories of features, shorts, documentaries, student films, TV pilots, family films, animated films and action sports. There are four days of films, panels, music, parties and skiing. The last day of the event is capped with an on-mountain awards celebration where awards are given for the best feature film, best short firm, best documentary, best TV pilot and best student film. As many as sixty-four films can be screened over the four day event. You can view the best that the film industry has to offer in the magnificent splendor of the winter wonderland that is located in Vail, Colorado.
