Summer Activities & Services

Perhaps because of its self-described sophistication, Beaver Creek maintains its resort atmosphere year round, even in the summer. The resort vibe remains strong with attractions like a bungee trampoline, climbing wall and miniature golf. Families and singles alike may opt for fly-fishing, golf, horseback riding and hot air ballooning.

Once on horseback, visitors can include wagon rides and sunset dinner rides in their list of activities depending on what local outfitters offer. Another great way to take in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains is riding in a fancy four –wheel vehicle. Many local rafting companies offer four by four tours through Beaver Creek's old mining towns and high altitude wagon roads. If you choose to bike B.C. roads, you will find everything from paved pathways to challenging rocky ascents. You can also access the top of Beaver Creek's mountain via a summer- operated chairlift.

The leisurely chairlift ride takes you up to 10,200 feet. Upon reaching the summit, Beaver Creek's complimentary mountain activities include an 18-hole championship disc golf course, tetherball, footballs, a sandbox with children's toys and horseshoes. If you choose to hike instead, you can cool off in the nearby rapids of Gore Canyon where several outfitters will show you the wild west via whitewater. Beaver Creek also offers a spectacular rodeo with free parking and shuttle rides. Kids and adults alike will delight in pony rides, a petting zoo and an authentic western atmosphere. With a number of villages including Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead, there is plenty of territory to explore in anyway you see fun and fit.
